During the National Day holiday, Yimeng Mountains witnessed a remarkable shift as visitors transitioned from single-day pass-through trips to three-day, two-night overnight stays. Both length of stay and repeat spending surged, driven by Mengshan Mountain's threefold transformation in cultural tourism. The First Transformation: From a Sightseeing Mountain to an Experiential Mountain. The three scenic areas—Guimeng, Yunmeng, and Tianmeng—have adopted complementary positioning, introducing live-action performances, NPC interactions, and forest family activities to turn static scenery into immersive interactive experiences. The Second Transformation: From an Experiential Mountain to a Resort Mountain. Relying on the Mengtong Shengjing Resort, the area linked ticketing between scenic attractions and local homestays, introduced nighttime tours, and established a model that draws visitors up the mountain and hosts them overnight at the base, effectively extending the tourism spending chain. The Third Transformation: From Isolated Resorts to Region-Wide Integration. Breaking the pattern of fragmented county-level administration and isolated operations, the region rolled out joint ticketing and unified travel routes to forge a closed-loop system of "drawing mountain traffic, accommodating visitors at the base, and driving region-wide consumption," thereby advancing integrated development around Mengshan Mountain.
