Tai’an, Shandong: 54 “Single-Matter” Services Available at Your Fingertips

Tai’an is advancing smart city development by addressing the pain points citizens face in handling administrative affairs. Relying on “Taixiaozhi”, it enables users to “handle tasks while chatting” and breaks down “data silos” between departments. The city has aggregated 11.7 billion pieces of public data and established a computing power scheduling platform, coordinating up to 1,242 P of computing power and driving urban governance to transition from “visible” to “computable”. Leveraging digital reform, 54 “Single-Matter” services have been implemented, providing convenient and efficient experiences in scenarios such as charging pile installation applications, consumer rights protection in scenic areas, elderly care services, and smart parking. Meanwhile, the “Lutong Code” enables seamless single-code access across multiple sectors. The city is cultivating a data annotation industrial chain and revitalizing public data to develop data products in sectors such as finance and insurance. Next, Tai’an will harness the dual drivers of “Data Element ×” and “Artificial Intelligence (AI) +” to build a digital governance demonstration zone.
