On October 14, the Heze Municipal Bureau of Transport held an expert review meeting on the Heze City 15th Five-Year Plan for Comprehensive Transport Development. Experts in transport engineering, port and shipping, and urban-rural planning joined the review, along with multiple municipal departments and the plan's drafting unit. The 15th Five-Year Plan period is a critical stage for Heze as it builds a modern comprehensive transport system, creates a Heze model for Shandong's efforts to build a strong transport demonstration zone, and develops into a national comprehensive transport hub city. At the meeting, the expert panel reviewed relevant materials and discussed and questioned the plan's strategic positioning, road network layout, project planning, and green and smart development. The panel agreed that the plan aligns with higher-level requirements and fits local conditions, making it scientific and feasible. Experts also offered suggestions on connectivity, project sequencing, "transport plus" integration and risk prevention. Next, Heze will incorporate the opinions to optimize the plan, speed up the creation of a star-shaped comprehensive transport network, and coordinate the development of highways, railways, waterways and airways — injecting transport momentum into local high-quality development.
