Four Distinctive Sectors in Shizhong District, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province Drive Service Industry Growth

On October 15, a press conference on the high-quality development of the modern service industry in Shizhong District, Zaozhuang City, was held to announce relevant achievements. In 2025, the value added of the service sector in the district accounted for 63.8% of its GDP, with the total value added exceeding 25.62 billion yuan, making the service sector the largest sector driving economic growth. From January to August 2026, the district had 144 local service enterprises above the designated size in its statistical database, generating an operating revenue of 6.36 billion yuan, with producer services above the designated size accounting for 71%. Shizhong District is focusing on cultivating four major service industry clusters. The circular economy industry has built a full-chain ecosystem for secondhand goods, creating several pioneering models nationwide. The inspection and testing sector has gathered multiple leading enterprises and accredited institutions to build a full-chain technical service system. In addition, the district is expanding into the photovoltaic aftermarket and digital economy sectors, making efforts in areas such as photovoltaic operation and maintenance, live-streaming e-commerce, and computing power technologies, to continuously consolidate the foundation for the development of the modern service industry.
