Wudi, Shandong Builds a Smart Logistics Industrial Zone with Nationwide Reach

Currently, the Lubei Haina Smart Logistics Zone project in Wudi County is stepping up the final construction of its supporting facilities. With its main structure already completed, the project is expected to be put into operation by the end of December this year. With a total investment of nearly 170 million yuan, the project capitalizes on its prime location on the southern coast of the Bohai Sea, situated at the convergence of the Yellow River Delta and the Bohai Rim economic zones. Designed to meet the transportation needs of the local chemical industry, it features integrated supporting facilities for parking and refueling, warehousing and transportation, and maintenance services. Upon completion, the project will integrate rail and maritime resources to build a smart multimodal transportation system. It will undertake the transportation of chemical raw materials and products in the region, with its annual revenue expected to exceed 200 million yuan. Leveraging the locational and freight source advantages of the Lubei High-tech Development Zone, the zone utilizes the Internet of Things, big data, and AI technologies to achieve full-process digital management and control over order processing, warehousing, and transportation. Wudi County continues to optimize its business environment, leveraging this project to improve the regional multimodal transportation network, build a smart logistics support platform, and facilitate the high-quality development of the regional economy.
