Recently, the Office of the National Postdoctoral Regulatory Commission announced the list of newly established postdoctoral research stations for 2026. The Lu'nan Research Institute of Beijing Institute of Technology was selected, bringing the total number of national-level postdoctoral research stations in Tengzhou to three. During the same period, the Industrial Design Center of Shandong Tiger CNC Machine Tool Accessories Co., Ltd. was recognized as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level industrial design centers, marking the continued expansion of local research and development platforms.
In recent years, Tengzhou has focused on industrial transformation and upgrading, driving its industrial sector toward high-tech, intelligent, and green development through technological upgrades and digital innovation. The city selected 102 industrial technological transformation projects for its database and implemented dynamic dispatching. From January to July, 101 projects broke ground, achieving a 99% commencement rate. Additionally, 19 projects were included in the provincial-level technological transformation guidance catalog, and eight projects received support from ultra-long special treasury bonds for equipment upgrades.
Tengzhou continues to refine its tiered cultivation system for smart manufacturing, guiding enterprises to strengthen their R&D efforts. Notably, two technological achievements by Shandong Weida Precision Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd. have been selected as typical cases of national-level innovative industrial machine tool products. Citywide, 19 basic-level smart factories and two advanced-level smart factories were newly certified, highlighting the remarkable results of the intelligent transformation in traditional manufacturing.
