Recently, the Binzhou Municipal Statistics Bureau released data showing that from January to July this year, fixed-asset investment in Binzhou increased by 1.9 percent year on year, ranking second in the province in growth rate, with investment performance remaining stable while improving in quality.
Construction and installation investment across the city played a prominent driving role, with major projects worth 100 million yuan or more serving as a stabilizing anchor for investment. Investment in the service sector grew by 4.7 percent, with producer services showing positive growth momentum, while investment in public welfare sectors such as ecology, health, culture, and sports increased significantly, driving continuous improvements in public services. Infrastructure investment increased by 22.4% year on year, with key projects in transportation, water conservancy, and information technology advancing in an orderly manner, and the loading capacity of both urban and rural areas steadily strengthening.
The replacement of old growth drivers with new ones has yielded tangible results. Specifically, investment in high-tech industries rose by 31.7% year on year and strategic emerging industries accounted for 55.8% of total investment. Investment in green and low-carbon sectors rose steadily and new quality productive forces accelerated in accumulation. Private investment maintained a solid foundation, accounting for 63.31% of total investment. Private investment in the "Four New" sectors demonstrated robust vitality, with strong performance in sectors such as automobile manufacturing and non-metallic mineral products, injecting strong momentum into the local economy.
