Binzhou's Above-Designated-Size Cultural Industry Expands and Upgrades in H1 2026

In the first half of this year, despite industry headwinds and a sluggish market, Binzhou's above-designated-size cultural industry maintained steady overall operations. It demonstrated a positive growth trajectory characterized by an expanded business base, increased investment, and rebounding profitability.

Local cultural enterprises continue to grow stronger. The city now boasts 119 above-designated-size cultural entities, representing a 9.2% year-on-year increase. Notably, the cultural services sector stood out with a remarkable growth rate of 19.4%, driving the industry's ongoing structural optimization toward greater service orientation and diversification. Thanks to the rollout of various relief and innovation-support policies, business operations have seen significant improvements in both quality and efficiency. Above-designated-size cultural enterprises successfully turned operating losses into profits, while innovation momentum continued to build, with overall R&D expenditures rising by 9.9% year on year.

The construction of cultural projects has also accelerated. In the first half of this year, 43 cultural construction projects across the city progressed smoothly, driving an 8.7% year-on-year increase in industry investment. Among them, 38 major projects—each valued at over 100 million yuan—served as key growth pillars, achieving an investment growth rate of 13.6% and laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of Binzhou's cultural industry.
