Leveraging its exceptional advantages as a comprehensive transportation hub, Qingdao boasts qualifications for four types of national logistics hubs (production service, port, commercial service, and airport). The city continues to enhance its modern logistics network, facilitating domestic and international circulation while seamlessly connecting production, sales, supply, and demand. As a key priority for the opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, Qingdao is fully committed to building a modern logistics system centered on 'hubs, corridors, and networks.' This initiative aims to reduce costs, improve quality, and boost efficiency in the logistics sector, while optimizing the transportation structure and fostering new quality productive forces.

Qingdao is planning and securing a portfolio of key logistics projects with a total investment of 26.08 billion yuan, encompassing core initiatives such as expressways and smart digital logistics hubs. In the port sector, infrastructure upgrades are ongoing to achieve full rail access to ports and implement a "single bill of lading" multimodal transport model. To date, 57 inland ports have been established, with sea-rail intermodal freight trains from the nine provinces and regions along the Yellow River accounting for over 80% of the total volume. In terms of air logistics, Qingdao is leveraging Jiaodong International Airport to advance multiple national-level projects aimed at strengthening and extending the industrial chain, ultimately establishing a core regional air logistics hub. Looking ahead, Qingdao will explore new business formats, such as the low-altitude economy and rail logistics, to further enhance its capacity for global resource allocation.
