Recently, leading companies from both China and abroad have continued to expand their presence in Shandong, with a number of high-end industrial projects coming on stream. U.S.-based Mammoth Freighters and Taikoo (Shandong) Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd. have entered into a partnership to establish China's first Boeing 777 wide-body passenger-to-freighter conversion production line at Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport. The project will make Qingdao the only Boeing 777 conversion hub in the Asia-Pacific region and the third such hub worldwide, marking a landmark achievement in Shandong's foreign investment cooperation in the aviation industry.

Leading Chinese technology companies are also accelerating their expansion into the province. Unitree Robotics, a leading robotics innovator striving to become the first A-share listed company focused on humanoid robots, has established an industry college in Qingdao, working with local enterprises to develop talent and deepen the industrial chain.
