Quality Service Platform Opens a "Fast Track" for Shandong's Foreign Trade

In the testing laboratory of the Shandong Institute for Product Quality Inspection, located in the Chidong Avenue zone of Chiping District, Liaocheng City, testing personnel are methodically conducting tests on products such as power transmission and distribution equipment and energy storage power facilities despite the high temperatures. Through scientific and precise testing, manufacturers with qualified products can obtain a "passport" for going global, featuring "one-time testing and mutual recognition among multiple countries."

Currently, the global new energy equipment industry is thriving. However, marked differences in market access standards and technical specifications across countries mean that the same piece of equipment manufactured in China often must undergo repeated, market-specific testing and certification when exported—creating barriers to "going global" such as multiple certifications, high compliance costs, and prolonged time‑to‑market.

The Shandong Institute for Product Quality Inspection has proactively aligned with the International Electrotechnical Commission's global conformity assessment system. As a testing laboratory recognized by the IEC System for Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechnical Equipment and Components, it has implemented a "packaged" service model of "local testing + international certification," accelerating the "going global" of Chinese products.
