Shandong's Dezhou Sees Strong Growth in Exports of Deep-Processed Grain Products

Dezhou is one of China's major hubs for the grain deep-processing industry. It is home to a functional sugar industrial cluster and a non-GMO soybean protein processing base. Meanwhile, well-known companies such as Anjoy Foods, Royal Tiger, and GeeMate have established operations there. To promote industrial upgrading and improve efficiency, Dezhou Branch of Customs has taken a proactive approach by providing efficient supervision and targeted support, helping enterprises secure orders and expand markets.

The Dezhou International Land Port has opened a fast track to global markets. Relying on the land port, Dezhou Branch of Customs is vigorously promoting the sea-rail intermodal transport model. Through the International Trade Single Window, enterprises can submit a single intermodal transport application form, thereby achieving "one-time declaration, one-document clearance." Export goods are released upon departure and loaded directly onto vessels upon arrival by rail, reducing logistics costs and improving the efficiency of transport resource integration.

The adoption of remote on-site inspection has enabled zero-delay customs clearance. Dezhou Branch of Customs has actively promoted this model, allowing qualified food exporters under its jurisdiction to participate in the pilot program. The average inspection time has been reduced to half a day. Once production is completed, enterprises can file declarations online without moving goods from the factory, achieving same-day declaration, same-day inspection, and same-day shipment.

In the first half of 2026, Dezhou's food exports reached 1.448 billion yuan, up 21.4% year on year. Specialty products including functional sugars, soybean protein, and quick-frozen grain and flour products were exported to markets around the world.
