Shandong Introduces Fiscal Reward and Subsidy Policy for AI Terminals

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province and the Shandong Provincial Department of Finance recently co-issued the Administrative Measures and Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Fiscal Reward and Subsidy Funds for Artificial Intelligence Terminals in Shandong Province. Under these rules, eligible products, including smart home devices, smart wearables, smart computers, and industrial or commercial terminals, can receive a one-off fiscal reward and subsidy of up to 1 million yuan.

To be eligible for the rewards, entities must be engaged in the R&D and production of AI terminals, possess strong innovation capabilities and stable R&D teams, meet the "green threshold" requirements for fiscal enterprise-related funds, and have no negative credit records in the past two years.

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province and the Shandong Provincial Department of Finance will issue application notices outlining support priorities, eligibility criteria, and documentation requirements. Each selected smart terminal product is eligible for a one-off fiscal reward and subsidy of up to 1 million yuan. In principle, approximately 30 terminal products will be rewarded and subsidized annually.
