Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province announced the first batch of the 2026 list of provincial advanced smart factories. A total of 13 Liaocheng enterprises made the list, including the flexible intelligent manufacturing factory for lightweight aluminum alloy wheels of Shandong Juncheng Metal Technology Co., Ltd., the intelligent spinning factory of Linqing Sanhe Textiles Group Co., Ltd., and the full-process digital-intelligent corrugated cardboard factory of Shandong Dachang Paper Products Co., Ltd.
The selection followed a rigorous process, including enterprise self-application, preliminary review and recommendation by municipal and county industry and information technology departments, provincial expert evaluation, and public disclosure. Focusing on core indicators such as full-process digital control, industrial internet application, and flexible intelligent production line construction, the selection serves as a key benchmark for the intelligence level of the province's manufacturing industry.
In recent years, the industry and information technology authorities of Liaocheng have consistently promoted digital and intelligent empowerment in manufacturing. By issuing special support policies and conducting regular policy briefings and expert diagnostic services, they have fostered smart factories across leading industries such as non-ferrous metals, auto parts, bearings, and building materials. This tiered cultivation system aims to help industrial enterprises above designated size accelerate equipment networking, system interoperability, and data sharing.
