Opening Ceremony of 2026 Hong Kong-Macao-Shandong Week Held Today in Hong Kong

On May 19, 2026, the opening ceremony of the 2026 Hong Kong-Macao-Shandong Week and the Shandong-Hong Kong Collaborative Development Exchange Conference took place in Hong Kong. Running for five days from May 18 to 22, the event was themed "Uniting Forces for the 15th Five-Year Plan, Joining Hands to Open a New Chapter". Ahead of the event, 115 high-quality projects were shortlisted, with a batch of highly mature projects officially signed at the opening ceremony. A series of supporting activities were held during the event, including the "Remarkable Shandong" brand promotion (featuring 56 companies and 89 exhibits), a young entrepreneurs' exchange meeting for Shandong, Hong Kong, and Macao, and a culture and tourism promotion conference. For the first time, a dedicated session was introduced to outline measures for facilitating inbound tourism services, further deepening multisectoral cooperation among the three regions.
