Driven by application scenarios and guided by industry-defined technologies, Shandong is actively embedding AI deep into the entire value chain of its 41 major industrial sectors. By leveraging competitive industries such as chemicals, equipment manufacturing, and energy to foster benchmark application scenarios, the province's core AI industries generated over 50 billion yuan in revenue during the first four months of the year, achieving a growth rate of about 30%. Local enterprises have developed and deployed industrial large models and intelligent inspection systems across factories, ports, and mines. Meanwhile, the "Qilu Manufacturing Platform" serves as a matchmaking platform for supply and demand, fostering a symbiotic ecosystem where leading enterprises set the stage, small and medium-sized enterprises take the spotlight, and industry-academia-research collaboration empowers growth. Shandong is transitioning from working in silos to building collaborative synergy. By leveraging AI to empower new industrialization, the province aims to establish itself as a national hub for AI application and demonstration.
