Shandong has unveiled a major talent policy to attract top talent from around the world. The province is deepening its "Zhufeng Program" for leading talent, opening 5,070 postdoctoral positions with annual salaries of up to one million yuan. It has also rolled out 204 research projects for open competition, with a total investment of 2.19 billion yuan, of which nearly 500 million yuan is earmarked for rewards. Over 80% of these projects are designed to meet advanced domestic benchmarks. In addition, the province will dispatch science and technology professionals to serve in temporary deputy posts.
