The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province has recently launched an initiative to provide industrial energy-saving and carbon-reduction diagnostic services. Focusing on key sectors such as steel, electrolytic aluminum, cement, oil refining, computing power facilities, and communication base stations, these services will provide enterprises with energy-saving and carbon-reduction diagnostics, carbon emission accounting, and product carbon footprint accounting. The diagnosis will examine process flows, energy consumption structures, and energy-carbon management systems, produce an accounting report, and put forward rectification recommendations. The entire service is free of charge for enterprises, supporting the green and low-carbon transition of the industrial sector.
