In the first quarter of this year, Shandong's trade with the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member states reached 173.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.4%. Specifically, exports grew by 9.3% and imports surged by 39.1%, demonstrating a strong growth driver for trade. Leveraging the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area (SCODA), Shandong continues to build economic and trade platforms, streamline international logistics, and deepen two-way investment. With the accelerated rollout of the "SCO Selection" brand, high-quality consumer goods from SCO member states and Shandong's advantageous production capacity are achieving mutual access, driving a steady rise in the new foreign trade growth curve.
