The People's Government of Shandong Province has issued the 15th Five-Year Plan Outline and deployed key tasks in 16 areas, covering a modern industrial system, technological innovation, artificial intelligence highlands, regional coordination, building a strong maritime province, green and low-carbon development, and ensuring people's wellbeing. The goal is to connect every city with high-speed rail and provide every county with at least two expressways by 2030, cultivate 1-trillion-yuan-level emerging industries, expand enterprises that use specialized and sophisticated technologies to produce novel and unique products, and accelerate the efforts in building Shandong into a strong, modern socialist province for the new era.
