Shandong Unveils Action Plan: Over 500 Scenarios Targeted for Database Cultivation by 2027

Recently, the General Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province issued an action plan to drive the breakthrough development of new quality productive forces through the cultivation and open application of various scenarios. The plan outlines goals for 2027, such as cultivating over 500 scenarios and building around 20 scenario innovation laboratories, focusing on expanding application scenarios in five major fields: artificial intelligence (AI), the low-altitude economy, smart manufacturing, smart cities, and public services. Shandong will establish the Shandong Scenarios service platform, implement the open competition mechanism, and roll out policies such as scenario-based loans, fund support, and preferential government procurement. Using scenarios to drive technological innovation and industrial upgrading, the province aims to accelerate the construction of a national leading zone for scenario openness and a source of innovation.
