China Railway Express Trains and Cargo Volume Hit New Highs at SCODA

As of April 14, the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area (SCODA) handled 253 China Railway Express trains in the first quarter of this year, with a cargo volume exceeding 170,000 tons. Both figures rose by 2.43% and 3.10% year on year respectively, reaching record highs for the same period. SCODA has introduced an innovative "SCO Quick Pass" supervision model. This model cuts cargo waiting time at ports and lowers customs clearance costs. So far, it has opened 22 international routes, establishing an international logistics network connecting Europe, Asia, Mongolia, Russia, ASEAN, Japan and South Korea, with its international hub functions continuing to strengthen.
