Shandong Plans One‑Time Rewards and Subsidies for AI Terminal Products

On April 14, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province drafted a public comment draft on fiscal rewards and subsidies for AI terminals. It plans to give eligible AI terminal products a one-time reward and subsidy of up to 1 million yuan. About 30 products will be rewarded and subsidized each year. Applicant products must be developed and launched within the last two years. They must also have sales revenue exceeding 5 million yuan. The products cover six major areas, including smart home, wearables, smart computers, and industrial/commercial terminals. Enterprises need strong R&D capabilities. They must have no bad credit records. The public comment period ends on May 12.
