Shandong-Made Laser Cutting Equipment Ranks First Nationally in Export Value

As of April 9, 2026, data shows that in 2025, Shandong's export value of laser cutting complete equipment reached 5.418 billion yuan, accounting for 32.7% of the national total and ranking first in China for three consecutive years, with Jinan serving as the core hub. Led by Bodor Laser, the enterprises have achieved self-development and self-production of the three core components: laser source, laser head, and operating system. Sales of laser cutting machines above 1,000 watts have ranked first globally for seven consecutive years, with orders exceeding production capacity by 70%. Shandong's laser industry is evolving from a "dumbbell-shaped" structure to a full-chain upgrade. Jinan has gathered about 300 related enterprises, with an industrial scale of approximately 20 billion yuan. Leveraging technological breakthroughs and well-established supporting resources, products are exported to over 180 countries and regions. Using the "Qilu Optical Valley" as a key lever, the city is working to make breakthroughs in upstream core links, build a laser technology innovation hub and a global cooperation center in northern China, and enhance the global reputation of "Intelligent Manufacturing in Shandong."
