On April 2, the Shandong Provincial High-Quality Automobile Export Development Promotion Conference was held in Jinan, where the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province released 12 robust measures to safeguard and accelerate Shandong's automobile exports. These measures provide comprehensive support across the entire value chain, including expanding export scale, promoting collaborative overseas expansion, establishing an export alliance, exploring international markets, building shared sales and after-sales networks, increasing used vehicle exports, strengthening logistics, optimizing tax rebates, enhancing financial and insurance support, and improving customs clearance, enterprise-related services, and risk mitigation. An initiative to establish an automobile export alliance was released at the conference, along with the launch of a public service platform. Customs and port authorities simultaneously introduced facilitation measures. In 2025, Shandong's automobile production ranked fourth in China, with commercial vehicle exports accounting for over one-fifth of the national total. Shandong will leverage the implementation of these policies to transform its industrial strengths into export advantages, propelling the automotive industry onto the global stage.
