Shandong Launches "Shandong-Europe Partnership" Brand to Deepen Industrial and Supply Chain Cooperation with Europe

On March 30, 2026, the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government unveiled arrangements for building the "Shandong-Europe Partnership" brand for industrial and supply chain cooperation. The initiative leverages foreign affairs resources to establish a regular, high-level exchange platform, facilitating precise industrial matchmaking and upgraded cooperation between Shandong and Europe. Europe holds notable strengths in green transition and sci-tech innovation, aligning closely with Shandong's high-quality development needs during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Centered on key industries such as sustainable development, facility agriculture, and life sciences, the brand will feature targeted events organized in collaboration with embassies of European countries. Three major projects are set to be implemented as the first phase. In April, the Shandong-France Green Energy Matchmaking Event and the Shandong-Netherlands Facility Agriculture Cooperation Week will take place. The Shandong-UK Life Sciences and Green & Low-Carbon Industry Dialogues will be held in Zibo, London, and Yantai during different periods. Through the "Shandong-Europe Partnership" brand, Shandong will deepen its economic diplomacy efforts and upgrade cooperation with Europe from individual projects to the industrial chain, thereby empowering high-quality industrial development.
