2026 China (Shandong)–ASEAN Exchange Series Launch Ceremony to Be Held in Weifang

From March 25 to 27, 2026, the Launch Ceremony of the China (Shandong)–ASEAN Exchange Series and Agricultural Production and Supply Chain Cooperation Matchmaking Conference will be held in Weifang under the theme of "Harmony and Win-Win Cooperation, Connecting the Future." The event is jointly organized by six institutions, including the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government, aiming to focus on practical cooperation in agricultural production and supply chains between Shandong and ASEAN. Diplomatic envoys to China from eight countries, including Thailand and Cambodia, local government officials, and business representatives are invited to attend, while guests from the Philippines and Indonesia will join via video link. At the launch ceremony, the annual schedule of exchange activities will be released. The subsequent agricultural production and supply chain matchmaking conference will serve as a platform for cooperation. Participants will also visit sites, including Weichai Lovol Intelligent Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. and Cuilingxi Village in Shouguang, to see firsthand Shandong's achievements in agricultural technology and rural revitalization. The event, hosted in Weifang—China's first National Comprehensive Pilot Zone for Agriculture Opening up and Development—marks a milestone in Shandong's efforts to deepen its open cooperation with ASEAN and lays a foundation for its goal of becoming a global center for agricultural cooperation.
