Shandong Announces 86 Key Talent Policies at the Provincial and Municipal Levels

On March 18, the Information Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government held a press conference to introduce the preparations for the 4th Shandong Talents Innovation and Development Fair & the 14th Shandong Domestic and Overseas High-end Talents Exchange and Projects Negotiation Fair. It also announced 86 key talent policies at the provincial and municipal levels to provide comprehensive support for domestic and international talents to come to Shandong for innovation and entrepreneurship.

At the conference, key positions and research projects were announced simultaneously. A total of 115 sci-tech deputy positions were introduced, covering counties, districts, municipal departments, and functional zones. Additionally, 5,070 postdoctoral positions and 1,517 posts for post-doctoral innovative talent were announced, spanning key fields such as the new generation of information technology, with the highest annual salary reaching 1 million yuan. Focusing on 19 flagship industrial chains, 204 projects under the "open competition" mechanism were announced, with a total investment of 2.19 billion yuan. More than 80% of these projects aim to reach advanced domestic standards, helping to overcome key technological bottlenecks in the industry.
