Shandong Shortlists 15 Data Industry Clusters for 2026 Awards and Subsidies

The Shandong Provincial Big Data Bureau recently publicized the "List of Proposed Recipients for 2026 Shandong Data Industry Cluster Awards and Subsidies", shortlisting a total of 15 data industry clusters across the province.

In accordance with the requirements of the "Notice on Organizing Applications for Shandong Data Industry Clusters", the list of proposed award and subsidy recipients was determined following procedures including application submission, municipal preliminary review, and provincial-level evaluation. The public notice period runs from March 16 to March 20, 2026, for a total of five days.

This public notification marks a substantial step forward for the province in promoting the development of data industry clusters and fostering new growth drivers for the digital economy. The Shandong Provincial Big Data Bureau will finalize the recipients of rewards and subsidies based on the outcome of the public notice. By leveraging policy funding to guide the agglomeration and development of the data industry, the Bureau aims to provide robust support for building Shandong into a digital powerhouse.
