Shandong Releases 5,070 Postdoctoral Jobs and 1,517 Innovative Talent Posts This Year

The Information Office of the Shandong Provincial People's Government held a press conference today to introduce the 4th Shandong Talents Innovation and Development Fair & the 14th Shandong Domestic and Overseas High-end Talents Exchange and Projects Negotiation Fair. Scheduled for mid-May in Jinan, the fair is themed "Talent Leads Innovation and Openness Empowers Development". It aims to attract domestic and overseas talent to Shandong for cooperation and exchange.

A series of talent recruitment initiatives was unveiled at the press conference. This year, Shandong released 5,070 postdoctoral recruitment positions and 1,517 posts for post-doctoral innovative talent, covering key fields such as the new generation of information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, smart ocean, and medical care and health. Employers are offering competitive salaries of up to 1 million yuan. Concurrently, a recruitment plan for 115 sci-tech deputy positions was released to the public, inviting high-level talents from both inside and outside the province to apply. Additionally, 204 key technology breakthrough projects under the "open competition" mechanism were announced, involving a total investment of 2.19 billion yuan. These projects focus on frontier fields such as large artificial intelligence models and humanoid robots, with over 80% targeting a domestic advanced level or higher.
