Another National-level Green Factory Recognized in Yantai Huang-Bohai Sea New Area

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently unveiled the 2025 National Green Manufacturing List, featuring a newly designated national-level green factory from the Yantai Huang-Bohai Sea New Area. This addition brings the district's total count of such facilities to 13, marking a significant milestone in its quest to build a green manufacturing ecosystem.
The selected enterprises have achieved green standards in infrastructure, management systems, energy and resource inputs, product eco-design, and environmental emissions, representing the advanced level of green transformation within the region's manufacturing sector. In recent years, Yantai Huang-Bohai Sea New Area has steadfastly pursued a path of ecological priority and green, low-carbon development. Through policy guidance, benchmark setting, technological upgrades, and other measures, it has encouraged enterprises to adopt green and low-carbon technologies to build an efficient, clean, low-carbon, and circular green manufacturing system. The designation of this latest national-level green factory is more than just a nod to individual corporate excellence but a beacon for the industry. By playing a demonstrative and leading role, the facility is expected to boost collaborative carbon reduction efforts across the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, injecting fresh green growth drivers into the high-quality development of the regional economy.
