On the morning of March 10, the 2026 Shandong Modernized Water Network Construction Project Promotion Meeting was held in Jinan City. The meeting showcased 120 key projects across flood control enhancement, water supply security, and water ecological protection and restoration, with a total investment reaching 162.1 billion yuan. The meeting yielded fruitful results, with 20 projects signed on-site, totaling an investment of 29.6 billion yuan.

Aiming to thoroughly implement the national decisions and plans on accelerating water conservancy reform and development, the meeting serves as a platform for government-bank-enterprise cooperation and extensively attracts social capital to participate in the construction of Shandong's modernized water network. The implementation of these projects will significantly enhance Shandong's capabilities in flood and drought disaster defense, optimal allocation of water resources, and water ecological protection and governance, providing solid water conservancy support for the province's high-quality economic and social development.
