Recently, the vessel "Shandong Fu Yi" of Shandong Shipping Corporation under Shandong Marine Group successfully completed the first shipment of wheat from Argentina to China for COFCO Corporation Limited, marking the inaugural commercial shipping of Argentine wheat into the Chinese market. This shipment marks the official launch of a new China-Argentina grain route spanning half the globe and covering over 10,000 nautical miles.

The successful operation of this shipping route represents a significant achievement in advancing agricultural cooperation and expanding trade channels between China and Argentina. It also serves as a concrete practice by Shandong's shipping enterprises in supporting the national food security strategy and enhancing the resilience of the global supply chain.
