Anqiu in Shandong Drives Development of Packaging and Logistics Equipment Cluster with an Industrial Brain

Anqiu County-level City in Shandong Province has formed a development pattern for the packaging and logistics equipment industry featuring one leading core and collaboration among multiple industrial zones, contributing to the increasingly solid foundation for its digital transformation. The compound growth rate of the industrial cluster over the past three years reached 6.3%, 4.1 percentage points higher than the national average of the industry. The cluster gathers 128 upstream and downstream enterprises with a complete industrial chain, including 114 enterprises above the designated size covering multiple sub-sectors. It is home to 20 provincial-level gazelle enterprises, 81 enterprises that use specialized and sophisticated technologies to produce novel and unique products, and 12 manufacturing single-product champion enterprises, forming an industrial ecosystem with a clear division of labor and close collaboration.
