Shandong to Focus on Ten Major Initiatives in the First Year of the 15th Five-Year Plan Period

On January 27, the Fourth Session of the 14th Shandong Provincial People's Congress opened. The Government Work Report of Shandong sets the goals and tasks for 2026 and outlined the blueprint for the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Shandong will focus on implementing "Ten Major Projects": upgrading industrial capacity, enhancing scientific and technological innovation, expanding domestic demand, boosting market vitality and opening up, advancing the Shandong model of rural revitalization, promoting coordinated regional development, building a "Beautiful Shandong," fostering cultural innovation, improving public well-being and safety, and developing international expertise. These efforts aim to make decisive progress in building Shandong into a strong, modern socialist province for the new era.
