Growth of 4.5%! Shandong's Total Import and Export Value in 2025: 3.53 Trillion Yuan

In 2025, Shandong's total import and export value reached 3.53 trillion yuan, marking a 4.5% year-on-year increase and hitting a new record high. The province's share of the national import and export total stood at 7.8%, with its contribution to national foreign trade growth reaching 9.1%. Exports amounted to 2.16 trillion yuan, up by 4%; imports reached 1.37 trillion yuan, up by 5.1%.

In recent years, Shandong has vigorously implemented its "flagship projects" of the industrial economy, with new growth drivers and advantages in manufacturing gathering significant momentum. In 2025, Shandong ranked first nationwide in the export value of 105 categories of electromechanical products. Among these, 10 types of products, including diesel trucks, containers, concrete mixer trucks, and shuttle-less looms, accounted for over 10% of global exports in their respective categories, establishing Shandong as a major manufacturing hub worldwide.
