Shandong to Establish Approximately Five Major Workwear Industrial Clusters

Recently, eight departments, including the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province, jointly issued the Action Plan for High-Quality Development of Workwear Industry in Shandong Province (2026-2028). Shandong will focus on specialized workwear segments, such as occupational uniforms, protective clothing, professional fashion, and school uniforms. The province aims to accelerate the development of new workwear products and expand application scenarios. By 2028, Shandong strives to cultivate more than five key leading enterprises with annual revenues exceeding 3 billion yuan, establish approximately five major workwear industrial clusters, and build a comprehensive industrial chain spanning R&D design, functional yarns and fabrics, high-end printing and dyeing, and full-category workwear products.
