Weihai Helps Enterprises Go Global to Secure Orders

Recently, the Policy List for Promoting High-quality Development of Foreign Trade in Weihai City (2026 Edition) was issued. The list focuses on four core areas: supporting enterprises in diversifying the market layouts, promoting the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce, advancing coordinated upgrading between industry and trade, and optimizing the environment for foreign trade development. A total of 40 specific measures have been systematically outlined.

In 2026, Weihai will increase support for the development of cross-border e-commerce infrastructure. The city will support the construction of new customs supervision facilities for cross-border e-commerce and cross-border e-commerce livestreaming bases, and encourage districts and cities to rely on industrial parks and leading enterprises to apply for provincial-level workstations for characteristic cross-border e-commerce industrial belts.

Also in 2026, Weihai will step up efforts to attract domestic and international supply chain enterprises, as well as manufacturing and trading companies, to establish functional entities such as international marketing headquarters, logistics centers, and settlement centers in the city. By improving the service system for international trade supply chains, Weihai aims to form a virtuous cycle in which industry drives trade and trade, in turn, promotes industrial development.
