The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently conducted its 2025 dynamic assessment of national-level, cross-industry, cross-domain (dual-cross) industrial internet platforms. All six platforms in Shandong passed the assessment, improving their overall rankings and rapidly advancing their capabilities.
In recent years, Shandong has continuously improved its tiered development system, progressing from provincial-level platforms to national-level specialized platforms and then to national-level "dual-cross" platforms. This has shifted the focus from merely "building networks and platforms" to actively "using networks and platforms." As a result, the number of Shandong's provincial-level platforms has grown to 328, while its 46 national-level platforms rank first in the country. Furthermore, these industrial internet platforms now cover all 41 major industrial categories. Shandong will continue to advance its industrial internet innovation and development initiatives, including the integration of industrial internet and artificial intelligence. The province will leverage its platforms' strengths in aggregating vast industrial data and mechanism models, explore the integrated development of "platform + large language model" systems, and accelerate the large-scale application of the industrial internet.
