To overcome the challenge of limited global access without a port, Heze City, focusing on business needs, established China's first customs supervision workplace for air transport at a non-port airport—the Heze Airport International Cargo Terminal. The terminal began operations in March 2025, opening up an air silk road for international air logistics.
During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Heze will make every effort to enhance the functions, quality, and efficiency of the Heze Inland Port Bonded Logistics Center and the Heze Airport International Cargo Terminal. In addition, it will advance the construction of the customs supervision workplace at the Caoxian Inland Port, achieve rapid customs clearance and efficient cargo flow, help foreign trade enterprises expand into international markets, and enhance its level of opening-up and regional economic competitiveness.
