Shandong Issues 30 Fiscal Measures to Precisely Drive the Integrated Development of Education, Technology, and Talent

Recently, the General Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province issued the Several Measures on Fiscal Support for the Integrated Development of Education, Technology, and Talent, focusing on resource coordination, demand-driven measures, platform support, and ecosystem empowerment. These measures aim to foster an integrated development framework for education, technology, and talent, characterized by coordinated planning, policy synergy, resource coordination, and synchronized evaluation.

It is reported that Shandong is also the first province in China to reinforce investment and overall planning from a fiscal perspective, supporting deep coordination of education, technology, and talent. The province strengthens coordination of funds, regions, and fiscal resources, and has established a unified mechanism for resource coordination and integrated development.

Driven by industrial demand, policies on education, technology, and talent are merged and integrated to achieve a "1+1+1>3" effect. Additionally, Shandong will support universities in collaborating with enterprises and research institutes to establish innovation and entrepreneurship colleges, higher education consortia, and new engineering service industry development alliances, cultivating talent better suited to industry development needs through industry-education integration.
