Shandong Releases Artificial Intelligence Terminal Innovation and Development Action Plan

Recently, ten departments in Shandong Province jointly issued the Shandong Province Artificial Intelligence Terminal Innovation and Development Action Plan. The plan outlines leveraging the province's foundational strengths—including its prominent electronic information terminal production capacity and diverse artificial intelligence application scenarios—to build a nationally leading artificial intelligence terminal industry cluster and a new hub for integrated applications. Focusing on "artificial intelligence + flagship electronic information products", by 2027, Shandong will develop over 100 innovative products, including first-of-a-kind electronic products and first-of-a-kind equipment.

The Action Plan identifies key areas such as smart home appliances, virtual reality terminals, wearable devices, smartphones, smart computers, industrial terminals, and commercial terminals. It is understood that Shandong Province will award up to 6 million yuan per company to newly recognized national specialized, fined, peculiar and new "Little Giant" enterprises in the field of artificial intelligence terminals.
