Shandong Announces New Batch of Provincial-Level Single Champion Enterprises in Manufacturing

According to the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province, based on voluntary applications from enterprises and recommendations from municipal industry and information technology bureaus, 286 enterprises have been identified as the ninth batch of Shandong provincial single champion enterprises in manufacturing through procedures such as limited condition review, industry evaluation, expert assessment, on-site verification, and online publicity.

In recent years, Shandong has established a list of enterprises for tiered and category-based dynamic tracking management for cultivating a pipeline of enterprises. This approach aims to identify a group of enterprises that enjoy greater potential in terms of technological innovation capabilities, market share in niche segments, product quality, economic benefits, and asset-liability ratios to include in the single champion cultivation database. Meanwhile, tailored services featuring "one policy for one enterprise" have been provided.

In addition to provincial-level single champion enterprises in manufacturing, Shandong has also cultivated a total of 274 national-level single champion enterprises and 1,356 "little giant" enterprises, both ranking among the top in the country.
