Shandong Announces a New Batch of Provincial-Level Manufacturing Innovation Centers

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province recently organized the identification and cultivation of Shandong Province's manufacturing innovation centers. Six centers, including the Shandong High-End CNC Machine Tool Manufacturing Innovation Center led by JIER Machine-Tool Group Co., Ltd., have been recognized as Shandong Province's manufacturing innovation centers. Eight centers, including the Shandong Core Industrial Software Manufacturing Innovation Center led by Shandong Hoteam Software Co., Ltd., have been designated as cultivation targets for Shandong Province's manufacturing innovation centers.

Shandong Province's manufacturing innovation centers focus on generic technology R&D and achievement transformation, targeting traditional industries such as metallurgy, chemicals, light industry, building materials, textiles and apparel, and machinery; advantageous industries including high-end chemicals, automobiles, and smart home appliances; emerging industries such as new-generation information technology, high-end equipment, new energy, and new materials; and future industries including metaverse, artificial intelligence, and life sciences.
