Feicheng, Shandong: Continuously Promoting the Expansion and Clustering of New Energy, New Materials, High-End Chemicals, Modern Food, and Other Advantageous Leading Industries

In recent years, Feicheng has focused on increasing resources for scientific and technological innovation, accelerating industrial upgrading, and developing strategic emerging industries and future industries. The objective is to steer economic transformation toward new quality and green development.

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Feicheng witnessed the emergence of six national-level and 20 provincial-level manufacturing single champions and cultivated 16 national-level digital transformation benchmarks, such as leading digital enterprises. Moreover, it established three provincial-level digital economy zones, 123 "morning star factories" for the digital economy, and 31 provincial-level advanced smart factories and exemplary smart manufacturing scenarios.

Subsequently, Feicheng will further implement the strategy of building a strong city through new industrialization and continuously promote the expansion and clustering of new energy, new materials, high-end chemicals, modern food, and other advantageous leading industries. The city strives to develop an intelligent, environmentally friendly, and integrated modern industrial system.
