Recently, CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. released a tender announcement for the construction project (design) of an ultra-high-speed maglev multi-physics field coupling electromagnetic experimental platform track. According to the announcement, CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. will self-finance 50 million yuan to build a new ultra-high-speed maglev multi-physics field coupling electromagnetic experimental platform track approximately one kilometer in length.
The track is designed for an experimental speed of 660 km/h and will be used for engineering verification of existing high-speed maglev technologies and fundamental research on new technologies upon completion. This signifies that the world's first 600 km/h high-speed maglev transportation system can transition from the laboratory to a new "training" phase for high-speed performance verification.
This experimental platform not only provides a "training environment" for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the application of new technologies in broader fields such as new energy vessels, rail transit, aerospace, new energy, and intelligent microgrids, but it also creates greater possibilities for the mutual advancement of emerging industries, future industries, and the urban development of Qingdao.
