Recently, the Management Committee of Changqing University Town in Jinan, Shandong Fengyan Shidu Lineng Resource Recycling Technology Co., Ltd., and Jinan Changqing Urban Construction and Development Co., Ltd. signed a framework agreement for the standardized project on cascaded utilization and recycling of metal resources from 10,000 tons of lithium batteries annually.
The project will be implemented in two phases: Phase one involves an investment of RMB 100 million, located on Wode Avenue in Changqing District, covering the entire chain of lithium battery storage, dismantling, cascaded utilization, cathode and anode sheet crushing and sorting, and warehousing. Construction is scheduled to begin in December 2025, with completion in March 2026. Once operational, it will produce recycled materials such as black powder, copper foil particles, and aluminum foil particles on a large scale, achieving efficient recycling of lithium battery resources. Phase two plans an investment of RMB 200 million to build zero-carbon industrial zones and standardized factories, with the aim of further expanding production capacity, improving industrial layout, and creating a regionally leading lithium battery circular economy industrial base.
