Shandong's Enterprises Accelerate Development in the Sports Supplies Segment

Recently, the Shandong Provincial Matchmaking Exchange Event for Integration and Consolidation of the Sports Supplies Industrial Chain was held in Dezhou. According to reports, this young industry, which was newly included in the category of Shandong's provincial-level key industrial chains and flagship light industry chains at the beginning of this year, saw total revenue and profit growth of over 20% among enterprises above the designated size in the first half of the year.

In recent years, the development level of Shandong's sports supplies manufacturing industry has gradually improved. The R&D efforts for emerging, high-value-added products, as well as miniaturized, portable, and multi-functional products, have been continuously strengthened. The market shares of competitive sports equipment, commercial fitness equipment, fishing tackle, ski gloves, and other segments remain firmly at the top nationwide.

Currently, Shandong is accelerating the construction of "one enterprise, one technology" centers for key enterprises while tackling key technologies in emerging fields such as polymer new materials for sports surfaces and high-end outdoor sports equipment. Meanwhile, the province is actively promoting digital transformation and fostering an operational model of "data-driven design—intelligent flexible production—precise demand matching."
