Two Zones in Shandong Rank Among China's Top 30 High-Quality Software Zones

The China Software Industry Association recently released the High-quality Development of China's Software Industry Report (2025), unveiling the "2025 Top 30 High-Quality Software Zones in China" list. Qilu Software Zone and Qingdao Software Zone from Shandong Province were selected, ranking 4th and 24th respectively.

In recent years, Shandong has prioritized the software industry as a core pillar of its digital economy, refining the promotion mechanism for the "chain chief system" in the high-end software industrial chain. The province also issued the Shandong Provincial Software Famous Zone Construction Management Measures to establish a development framework of "two flagship cities driving multiple renowned zones, hundreds of leading enterprises nurturing thousands of renowned products".

To date, Shandong has cultivated 11 provincial-level renowned software zones, hosting over 11,000 enterprises and more than 220 R&D institutions. From January to September this year, the province's software business revenue exceeded 1.2 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.4%, ranking fourth nationwide.
