Shandong's First Flexible Satellite Smart Production Line Can Produce 100 Satellites Annually (500kg Class)

At the recent Shandong Province Commercial Aerospace Industry Innovation and Development Conference, the Jinan Satellite AIT Industrial Base was officially introduced nationwide.

This production line is the province's first flexible and intelligent satellite manufacturing line, equipped with full-process capabilities for satellite development, environmental testing, and comprehensive testing. Its annual production capacity reaches 100 satellites of the 500kg class. Serving as a "critical link" connecting upstream and downstream sectors, it activates the industrial ecosystem and propels Jinan’s aerospace information industry from fragmented layouts to cluster-based development.

In the future, as upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain concentrate their operations, the logistics radius will be reduced to within 50 kilometers. This means many components can be delivered directly from production lines to the final assembly workshop, achieving true "seamless connectivity". This approach significantly reduces transportation costs and inventory pressure while greatly enhancing the responsiveness and collaborative efficiency of the entire industrial chain.
